"Beyond the Wing" II with Vista Brewing

Join us on Monday, August 26th at 6:30pm for our 2nd annual celebration of propelling appendages and peak-season hot chilies. This year we're partnering with Vista Brewing, so look forward to trying the Dark Skies Black Pilsner and the Hensel Helles Lager. Expect smoked, grilled and fried fish collars, frog legs, rabbit legs, and the wings of quail, duck, chicken and turkey, all served family style with beer pairings, followed by dessert. Be prepared for a spicy evening!

Tickets are $100 per person for this 5 course dinner with beer pairings for each course. Gratuity is included.

Fall Fish & Game Dinner

With cooler temperatures, an end-of-summer/early fall fish and game dinner seems totally in order, and we wanted to do what we do best: serve wild food at the crossroads of the seasons.  Expect a feast featuring the full bounty of Central Texas; venison, wild boar, foraged plants and wild-caught freshwater fish along with new-crop vegetables and fruit, local cheeses and options from our all-Texas wine and beer list.

Gulf Seafood Dinner

This dinner will take us back to the old days, when we put on lavish multi-course dinners using as much different Gulf seafood as we could find.  Expect lots and lots of fresh fish, shrimp, oysters and squid, and even some more esoteric items like Gulf clams, and more, paired with local produce.

Hank Shaw Taco Party 7pm SOLD OUT

Join us on August 6th at 7pm as we host Hank Shaw while he tours for his most recent book, Pheasant, Quail, Cottontail: Upland Birds and Small Game from Field to Feast. 

We'll have tacos featuring tortillas from our sister restaurant Dai Due Taqueria, filled with traditional preparations of wild game, all served family style. All seating is communal - this event will sell out, so expect to share a booth or table and make new friends. If you have acquaintances attending and wish to sit together, we can accommodate only if tickets are purchased together in one transaction. Tickets are $85 per person, including service charge and a copy of the book (a $33 value). Beer and wine are available for purchase at an additional cost.
